Seamoss Gel Recipe


  • Seamoss – 1 Cup
  • Springwater – 1 ½ to 2 cups


  • Take some quantity of Seamoss
  • Rinse clean with running water
  • Inspect thoroughly for sand and other sea remains
  • Soak it in room temperature for 4 to 24 hours
  • Rinse excess water in every 4 to 6 hours
  • The Seamoss will change its color into white and transparent with a soft, slippery texture. It will become double the size.
  • Rinse thoroughly and drain off the excess water.
  • Put Seamoss and spring water into the blender.
  • Keep blending until it becomes creamy and smooth.
  • Pour the blended Seamoss into a glass jar with an airtight screw top.
  • Refrigerate and leave it for an hour to thicken.

Key Seamoss preparation tips

You can store the blended moss max for up to 2 weeks. Keep adding it in your breakfast smoothie every morning and start following a healthy routine.

Seamoss has no taste, and you can add it to different dishes. It’s an excellent plant-based alternative for gelatin and many other thickening agents. Feel free to add it in:
